Privacy notice
What we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written for the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who is responsible
The responsible party is Ironline, a business based in Cape Town. Ironline is not yet a registered company; it will be registered when it signs its first client, and this notice will then be updated with its registered name, number and address. Information officer: Ironline's owner, who can be reached at the contact address below. Contact: reply to any message we send you about your request, or ask on your call.
What we collect, and why
Only when you fill in the booking form. We collect:
- Your name, business name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number — required, so we can reply to your request.
- What you need, your type of business, where you work, your current website, whether the price fits and whether you make the decision — so we can point you to the right conversation. Your current website is optional.
- Whether you agreed to be contacted about your request, and separately whether you want occasional updates.
We use this to respond to the request you made and to prepare for the call. That is the reason for processing: you asked us to contact you.
Updates are separate
Being contacted about your request and receiving updates are two different choices. The updates box is never ticked for you, and you can stop updates at any time by telling us.
Who else handles it
- Cal.com, the calendar you book in, which receives the name and email you give it to make the appointment.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the request when you send the form.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
Some of these providers are outside South Africa, so your information may be transferred abroad. We only use providers bound to protect it to a standard comparable with POPIA.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. The calendar provider may set its own cookies when you use it.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed to deal with your request and any agreement that follows. After that it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us using it. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
Security
The form is sent over an encrypted connection. Access to what you send is limited to the people who need it to respond.
